This ranch just seens like it is a illegal place to have sex with Children. It is also a place where they take our money we have worked so hard for. As I understand that the welfare system does have people checking on these people who collect welfare. So who was doing the checking when the welfare department was cutting checks for so many at one address? These woman are all brain washed. I feel the children needs not to go back there to that ranch. And I feel our government needs to take all welfare off of anyone who lives there and force them to go out into the real world and get a job just like the rest of us.This crap has to stop! SO someone had better put a stop to it right now. Cut off the free money going into there. What the heck is wrong Texas? Someone must be sleeping. If this mess falls into the cracks of the courts there is no justice. I can not figure this out cops have the right to come onto my property to see what is going on if someone calls them out to check it out. Cops have the right to patrol our streets. SO why do they not have the right to patrol this ranch? They could be making moon shine or growing marijuana so is this right not to be able to get on this property? Well if this is all ok then I’m going to buy a ranch and move to Texas where I can do anything I want to on my ranch! SO move over Rapist I’m moving in next door to you all and I’m going to collect welfare for my animals asno one will check to see if they are people or not. I will name all my animals common names like Joe, Pete, Mike and what ever else I can think of. I will love to beat the system like these crazy people are doing. Well maybe they are not so crazy………. They are collecting a lot of money form all of use working people.

I realize that not all of the facts are in yet. However, I think there are a lot of preconceptions we have about their religious practices, whether justified or not. When I first heard of this story, I agreed with the state taking custody of the children, but not after further consideration.
On Anderson Cooper 360 they kept mentioning some 16 year olds that are married and that it's illegal. In almost all states, including Texas, 16 is a legal marriage age with parental consent. So far there has been no evidence presented regarding the father's age of any underage pregnant girls. If it is by men, they should be prosecuted. However, society as a whole has problems with underage girls getting pregnant by fathers both their own age and significantly older. This is not isolated to FLDS.
Unless it's proven to be much more widespread in their community than average, there is no justification for the state to take all of their children away. Standard practice is to prosecute the offenders and take custody of the abused child, not take every child in the city.

Some of the above I can't follow. In FREE SOCIETIES "polygamy" as common as bees y birdies do. US no free society >> polygamy unlawfull, no matter religion. Same for child abuse.. Age NOT important... when of childbearing ability she no child nomore. Christian churches have written the Laws in our Western Society... We obey/behave "LAW & ORDER" or check out and go live with bugs/critters in jungle So. Ami continent. It is still a FREE WORLD. Texas does not like, so Texas DOES NOT LIKE IT.. 'That SIMPLE. Law of the Land is what it is... NO excuse for any religion... or sect....AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED. Donah////

This goes beyond religion. Are you telling me that it's okay to have sex with a 10 year old? Obviously it's not. If people want to have multiple wives, whatever. Personally, I believe that it should go the other way also and woman should have many husbands. When you get into grown men having sex with little kids, that's a whole different (and very illegal) beast.
