Why is this news, illegal slien unwed tenn gets pregnant and goes to hospital to get free medical care, thanks to US taxpayers.
Where are the stories about:
1. Who is looking into the suspicious death of the DC Madam?
2. Where is the headline news about Iran no longer trading in US dollars for oil transactions?
4. Why wasn't there a single article reporting on May 1 that every port on the west cost of US and Canada shut down by unions, in protest of Iraq War?
Why isn't there real news unwed, teen, illegal Mexigan baby factories is not news.

There is nothing "heartwarming" about this story--it's horriific in every respect: that another teen girl got pregnant, that she had to keep it a secret, that she popped it out in the shower at home, that they had no working telephone, that she had to carry it several blocks while still attached...all of it is horrible. Where's the heartwarming part? That they didn't both die in the street? If that's the measure of a happy story these days, we really have hit rock bottom...

Please don't be so negative! Thanks God that this girl was smart enough to know if she would have thrown the baby in a dumpster, she could have gone to jail or worst. Why is it that you know if she isn't going to get a hospital bill like everybody else? Hospitals nowadays are constanly changing the way they handled 'business'. Also quick to stereotypy the girl. How do you know if she is not a native, maybe more american than you are? I agree with the visitor above, is a horrible story but it ended well. Well because she went to the hospital and maybe this will be an example for other pregnant teens to follow. Please don't throw your baby away, if you don't want him or her, someone will. Bring to the hospitals and these people at the hospital shouldn't be require to investigate the girls unless off course there is a criminal act committed. These girl are afraid of the parents, the peer pressure and society like the one critisizing her in the above comment, that they resource to stupid behavior. Yes, thank God that she opted for 'stupid instead of criminal behavior'. And for that we should be thankful.
