I SEEN JIM MORRISON IN 92 IN A CLUB CALLED, CLUB CORONADO IN ANHIEM CLAIF. OFF BALL RD. AND MAGNOLLIA, I MET THIS YOUNGER FELLOW AT ONE OF OUR GIGS A WEEK BEFORE WE PLAYED THE CLUB CORONADO HE HAD TOLD ME HE HAD JUST FOUND OUT WHO HIS FATHER WAS AND SAID IT WAS JIM MORRISON AND THAT HE WANTED TO SET IN AND SING WITH OUR BAND AGIAN SO I GAVE THEM MY PHONE # THEY CALLED ME UP AND WANTED TO KNOW WEAR WE WHERE PLAYING NEXT I TOLD THEM THE CLUB CORONADO,,,, THEY CAME TO OUR GIG THAT NEXT WEEK AND THIS YOUNG GUY WHO SAID HIS FATHER WAS JIM MORRISON AND SOME OTHER PEOPLE, WELL I WOULD SAY ABOUT A 20 MIN. AFTER THIS GUY CALLED CLIFF CAME IN I SEEN THIS GUY WALK INTO THE BAR HE HAD LONG SALT WAVEY HAIR DOWN TO HIS SHOULDERS A LONG SALTY WAVEY BEARD DOWN TO OR ABOUT TO THE SECOUND BUTTON ON HIS SHIRT, HE WAS WEARING A LONG LEVI JACKET DOWN PAST HIS HIS KNEES ALMOST DOWN TO HIS ANKOLES IT WAS LIGHT BLUE AND REALATIVELY NEW,AND WAS WEARING SUSPENDERS. HE CAME IN BY HIMSELF WALKED OVER TO THE CORNER WHERE THERE WAS A TABLE AND SAT DOWN. I FREAKED OUT ON THIS MAN, IM THINKING THIS IS CRAZY THIS GUY CLIFF SAYING HES JIMS SON AND NOW IM SEEING HIS DAD IN THE BAR, ANYWAY WE CALLED CLIFF TO COME UP TO SET IN AND SING SOME OLD DOORS TUNES, AS CLIFF WAS SINGING I WAS WATCHING THIS GUY WHO I SWEAR WAS JIM MORRISON, HE WOULD SET THERE AND WATCH CLIFF SING. ONE OF THE BAR MIADS WENT OVER AND SAID SOMETHING TO THIS GUY, YOU KNOW SHE ASKED IF HE WANTED A DRINK, THE GUY NEVER DRANK A BEER OR SMOKED A CIG AND WHEN CLIFF WAS DONE SINGING HTE GUY GOT UP AND WALKED OUT. ME AND THE DRUMMER IN MY BAND WERE THE ONLY TWO THAT NOTICED HIM, IT WAS JIM, NO IFS OR BUTS.... LATER I WAS ASKED TO PUT A BAND TOGETHER WITH THIS KID, WE DID AND CALLED IT THE, LIZARD SON BAND...... AFTER HEARING WHAT IVE HEARD ABOUT MORRISON SURFACING, IT MADE SENCE NOW I KNOW WHY THAT GUY WAS WEARING A MOUNTIAN JACKET , I TEACH GUITAR HERE IN AT LA MIRADA MUSIC IN LA MIRADA CALIF. I was buying this whole Jim Morrison sighting, but after seeing rodeoswest.com, I couldn't help to notice the merchandise they were trying to get the public to buy showing the so called Jim Morrison singing old Doors tunes. Looks like a bunch of people trying to make money. Unfortunately, this is probably a scam...

The tape is B.S.! In the begging of the tape there using a clip of the doors playing on the Ed Selavin show. which I dont know how there geting away with that, cause of patent rights..... If anyone out there has an answere to that please post it here.....thank you, and yes Jim is dead, like Pam is also..

I admit that the VHS is yes, bull. There is some possibility that he didn't actaully die in Paris, considering that only one person saw the corpse and since there was no autopsy allowed to be performed. But even if he lived, I don't think he is currently alive. Too many years of drug and alcohol abuse have probably taken their effect on him and he died. I also don't think he would have lived for thirty years after his longtime (even if they fought) girlfriend died. I don't think there was some government thing to kill off Jim, Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin because they were Vietnam protestors. I also think that he would go for near thirty four years and still be in hiding. If he was going to come out, he would have done so. Anyway, just my thoughts.

I personally know people who know Gerald Pitts, and it is widely known in his native state of Oregon, that he is conning people with his Morrison claims. The Video he sells from his web site is so amaturish that my five year old grandson could do a better job. Also Pitts should come clean as to why he only does 15 minute interviews on Radio,and will not allow listeners to ask detailed questions about his discovery of morrison... the reason being that he has no reasonable answers... because the whole thing is a hoax. by the way Gerald only accepts postal money orders as payment for his video...the reason for that is you cant stop payment on them, after you view his video piece of ****

I was at venice the other day with my girlfriend and we were buying rock and roll buttons from this one older gentlemen and he saw all the doors buttons in my hands and then started talking all this stuff about "cliff morrison" he said I should check him out. I told him Nah I already follow WILDCHILD and you cant get closer than that. he said Cliff was jims son I was thinking dude your old and youve done a lot of lsd. Then he told me waylon krieger was on his CD then I walked away thinking BULL****... I got home and googled cliff and the lizard sun band and was totally blown away cause he was right kreigers son was on the CD! That makes you think but anyone can be fooled you know and its weird cause it almost seems odd that you cant find this cd or any info on this kid. I just think its strange that waylon was on his CD...what cha think about that?

RIP Mr.Morrison- please people give the man a little respect.He was a great artist singer/songwriter and a magnificent poet and writer however he has broke on through to the other side.I think it would really piss him off to know that someone was out there using his name and getting publicity for it.His publicity!There is only one JDM and his time here on earth is gone.Please don't confuse him with some backwoods mountain hillbilly.

Y'know, it seems to me that if THE Jim Morrison of "The Doors" was still alive and now wanting to make it as a rodeo cowboy in the movies (please!!), all he'd have to do is make his presence known to the media. I have just been to see Jim's grave in Paris and the atmosphere was sad and depressed, unlike the rest of the cemetary.

On the topic of Jim Morrison, yes, he IS alive and well. My evidence is this. I visited his grave in Pere Lachaise Cemetary back in 2002. As I was heading to his plot, I noticed a slendar older man hiding behind a nearby gravesite. My curiosity got the better of me so I walked closer. The man then turned around as I walked directly up to him. I couldn't believe my own eyes. I knew then that I was looking into the eyes of the real Jim Morrison. He actually looked much like he did in 1971 but his hair was completely gray and he had numberous wrinkles. However, the basic features were the same. He looked at me without blinking and said, "Well, I can see by your shocked expression, that you know who I am." Before I could respond verbally, he quickly turned and quickly walked away among the dismal graves. As he got about 50 yards away from me he turned and yelled, "Break on through to the other side!" You may think that I'm nuts but I can assure you that was the real Jim Morrison that I saw back in 2002. I've been trying to contact his family members since then but have had no luck.

WOW wish I had seen him last Monday then! 35th Anniversary etc. Maybe he was there as a security guard!I can't imagine him as slender though - and the drinking must have stopped for him to be alive. But do you really think Jim would admit to being who he is before you spoke to him? I wouldn't think anyone would be in hiding for 31 years and instantly admit to still being alive. Maybe it was a ghost!!!
However on the other side - wasn't Pam well known for saying, after his death, that she was waiting for her old man to call, plus she spoke of him in the present tense --- and of course there is the mystery of the passports!

I went to Jim grave in 2000 and had never been there before. When my hubsand and I entered the grave yard my husband looked at at a map. I told him I did not need this map and took us right to the grave. When my hubsand how I did it. I told him I heard Riders on the storm in my head. Then saw Jim standing between the two security guards flipping them off. I am a medium and have been most of my life. I believe I saw Jim ghost. Let him rest in peace

Heard the Clff Morrison and the Lizard Sun Band play in a hotel last night the NAMM show 1-19-2008 in the distance from where i was sitting. The started with a Door's tune and played some very good groovin originals as well. The 2 ladies and i really liked their music and we commented that we wanted to find out the band name after the show on the hotel sign to find out that the singer claims to be Jim's son. Looking into any info brought me to this site.
My take on this issue is: Jim was known to have a few lady friends so it's possible he had kids. As great a singer songewriter he was, his death would have robbed him of the chance to know his kids growing up. He would have missed the opportunity to teach them, provide direction, and love.
As far as feigning his death: Why would have Pamela come home to live alone until her hard drug death over 2 years later? What would have been the big advantages of his new life? To me the sad part is that the final accounts of his life is about someone who didn't know how or have the ability to take care of himself. It was long before rehab and 12 step programs gained popularity so the shame is that he died a RNR casualty at the age of 27 without much of a chance.

Umm-I was looking for some info on Cliff too.I found him on myspace.And Waylon Krieger too.Waylon has like 50 friends. I read somewhere that Cliff had undergone DNA ?Does anyone knoe if thats true? Is there any way to find out? You have to admit-he looks like Jim in some of the photos-but not others.I'm open to the fact Jim probably has some kids out there.But I think if I were Jim Morrison's daughter I'd be letting the whole world know so I could get a cut of the $$$ after a DNA test.Plus-if these kids are groupies kids-their moms probably don't even know who their real dads are..Any thoughts?

Jim Morrison was unable to have children according to the Doors surviving members (Coast to Coast am radio interview 1/24/08).
They speculate that if he was able to have children there would be many offspring since, after all, he was a rock star and had no trouble reproducing.
The surviving members of the Doors also have said the Cliff Morrison seems unwilling to undergo DNA testing. I wonder why?

i think that anyone who claims to be, or be related to Jim should and would have came forth.I mean why not? I know i would. the only person i can credit to have the right to hide their idenity would be Jim.Maybe he was just tired of being Jim,maybe he left this life entirely.All i know is the he will forever be know and remebered for being himself.
